Project and a birthday!

 Yesterday we turned in our First semester project! Oh the feeling was good! 

After we handed in our baby, the other girls joined us for a celebration lunch at Café Ulla Terkelsen. The café's roots originate from the old café Ib Rene Cairo and has a quirky decor and laid back atmosphere. The food is great and prices are decent for what you get. 

What up! 

I chose the chili hummus salad, it's one of my favorites there. Also I chose the salad because I was having burgers later.. But more on that later. :-)

The rest of the girls ordered the Pulled Beef burger, and look at that beauty! Yum, and the taste was actually much better than pulled pork.

Later that night me and some friends went to surprise our friend who turned 30 ! Hurray :-) In Denmark there are traditions when you turn 25 and 30. At 30 you get showered in pepper. (25 - cinnamon) It is a pretty cruel tradition but its fun and festive! 

Anyways, I decided to cook for everybody and make a cosy evening for our birthday boy. 

Plenty of cheese, nothing less.

Back to the pepper part. We put the birthday boy in an elephant costume to make it extra fun. 

 After the pepper and burgers we celebrated with sparkling wine and some beer.

Oh yeah and birthday cake and song!
