A trip to Flensburg

Me looking a little tired in the train after a long day at work.

After a good nights sleep we arrived in Flensburg and the weather was ok.

The danish and german flag together. Kinda of weird when for just 72 years ago this place was Nazi controlled, where danes and germans where not even close to being united. 

We needed lunch when our batteries were dead. We were close to just picking a random greasy all a round tourist like restaurant, but M kept walking and we ended up here! OH MY it was good. We still think about the place with watering mouths. And the best part was it only cost about 50 euros for 3 people with drinks, that's so cheap! This really reminded me of - keep it simple!

This is not what you might think: Pigs in a blanket. Nope it is dates in a blanket. Really weird combination I thought. Either you love it or hate it. We LOVED it! My mom who is a kind of vegetarian (she only eats chicked and fish when she eats animals) This she tasted and loved it, so to you who might be wrinkling your nose. Try it! Just do it.
